San Francisco

San Francisco Juneteenth Freedom Celebration (Fillmore District): This iconic event, spanning over eight city blocks, is a must-do for Juneteenth in San Francisco. Expect a vibrant parade, live music, delicious food vendors, art exhibitions, and a joyful atmosphere celebrating African American culture and heritage. (June 15th) 

Juneteenth on the Waterfront (Ferry Plaza Farmers Market): Combine your love for fresh produce with celebrating Juneteenth! This special market features Black-owned farms and food vendors, live music, and educational booths highlighting the significance of Juneteenth. (June 1st) 

BlaCOEUR: A Juneteenth Disruption (The Dome at Westfield San Francisco): This unique event is a fusion of art, music, fashion, and activism. Expect thought-provoking installations, live performances by Black artists, and a marketplace showcasing Black-owned businesses. (June 16th)

Vallejo's 34th Annual Juneteenth Festival and Parade: This long-standing tradition in Vallejo offers a parade, live entertainment, a children's play area, and a marketplace filled with food vendors and artisans. (June 15th) 

Oakland Juneteenth Celebration: Immerse yourself in the vibrant Oakland community at this family-friendly event. Enjoy live music, dance performances, cultural activities, and a variety of food vendors offering delicious dishes. (June 27th)
